Widening bent Nintendo Switch dock using the iron.

I finally success widening bent Nintendo Switch dock using the iron.

Well, English is not my mother tongue.
So my English may be unnatural. Please understand and read this article.

My Nintendo Switch dock was bent too! I also worried getting scratches from the dock...
There are many ideas to solve this problem. For example, attaching soft clothes inside of dock etc.

But they are not fundamental, but temporary solutions.
The fundamental cause is the front side of the dock was bent.

So I decided to iron the dock and success it. Thermal deformation!

Here are some steps.

1. Put thick book inside the dock to widen.(This book must be thicker than the Switch dock slot like below.)

2. Put wet clothes (ex: glasses cloth) on the front side of the dock. (To protect the surface of a dock from melting.)

3. Iron 3~4 times quickly. (Alert! Do not heat too much time. If you do, the surface of the dock could be melted. Orz)

4. Cool the dock down, and check the width.

5. If the dock is not wider, retry 2 or 3 times. (Keep the clothes wet.)

Tah-Dah! Your Switch dock slot is widened.
